Making of Plastics:
 
Making of plastic has split to produce plastic raw material and plastic product production. The raw materials in plastics are fossil material as oil, coal and natural gas.  Production prosedures are for example injection moulding, extrusion, covering, blow moulding and deep-pull technique.

 

Groups and brands of plastic:
  Plastic is made for any function. Because different plastic brands have different attributes. Seperate plastics are known hundreds or maybe thousands.
  Plastics are light because its density is one to eight compared to steel density. These qualities together enable produce  f.eg. thinwall bottles.
  Plastics like acryl, carbonate and styrenes pass light like glass.
  Plastics isolate voice, heat and power because inside of  plastic cells there are gases like air.
  Thermoplastics proof acid, alkaline solutions and saline solutions.
Plastics are fiery materials and when they burn dangerous gases like CO2
will release. Plastics can be use up to 80
°C so they don't stantd high temperatures,. but there are also plastics for special purposes which stand also very high temperatures.
  The most important qualification of plastic is its formability.

 

Polystyrene:
  Plastic which is used in monitors is polystyrene because it is the strongest plastic. Its production was started in Germany in 1930, same year as it was invented. The type of polystyrene which is used in monitors and other hardcoverd devices is SB (Styrene Butadiene). It is blurry and it has good impact resistance
