Recycling of monitors:
The recycling of computer appliensis includes
trash tranportation, recycling and wasting in
final hanlingdestination. Some of
the parts are recycled back to manufactories through recyclingcentres.
Helsinki trashes are transported to
Vallila’s recyclingcenter. From there parts are moved to the
recycling points.
Monitors are first
unpacked manually and problem waste is removed.
The cathode-ray
tube will be assorted in three pieces; panel, cone and
neckglass, which will be delivered to practical application.
The cathode-ray tube will be divided and the phosphor which is inside
will be captured and delivered to a problem wastehandler, which has a
permit to handle problem waste and a granite coating in the coneglass
will be taken off.
70%-90%
of monitor is able to recycle.
The handling fees both the procession machines´ technical
features are business secrets.
